Walter, our Brasilian cavaquinho player and singer has come up with an amazing enredo (song) specially for the Liverpool Samba School . ‘O samba foi viajar pelo céu azul’ (samba travelled through the blue skies) is about how samba travelled like a bird from Brasil over our wonderful cathedrals and decided to rest in our great city… a metaphor for our own brand of Brasilian samba here in Liverpool, brought from Rio to the streets and parties of the city by the Liverpool Samba School
