Liverpool Samba School celebrated our 10 birthday last October 2005. To mark this auspicious occasion, and as it’s Carnival time, we are holding a Brazilian gala ball in the city on March 23rd 2006.

100% of the proceeds are going to the ABC Trust, Action for Brazil’s Children. Tickets priced at only £10 are understandably selling fast. Don’t miss out on the event of the year.

The gala ball takes place in every room in the beautiful Georgian former Lyceum building, now the Bar & Grill. In each room is a different event. Live performers, glittery costumes, fiery dancers and fabulous live music from bossa/jazz/latin acclaimed 7-piece, Novo Balanco, featuring the fabulous Sueyo.

And there’s more! For the smooth tongued, sharply dressed, lounge lizards amongst you we are proud to present Liverpool’s own ‘Perfectly Frank’, delivering a beautiful tribute Frank Sinatra from the days of the Sands Hotel. Sumptuous!

Dress to the nines and lose yourself in the splendour that is Carnival and raise money for a truly deserving charity. On top of all the music, dancing, and fabulous décor we’ll be holding a raffle with lots of celebrity donated glittering prizes for some of you lucky people to take home.

All this for still only £10. Every artist featured has waived their fee to bring you this night and so that 100% of the proceeds go to the ABC Trust.
