On the 15th of July the samba band played to the sound of little rattling boxes of Poppets as the group perfomed in Leeds Central Square for a promotion as the chocolate company launch their new branding. ( I couldn’t make this one, but apparently it was ace)
The next Poppets samba party will see Liverpool Samba School jollying along shoppers in our very own Williamson Square on the 9th September, with dancers and full costume, and of course piles of sweets (remember to save me some toffee ones, people… samba tip : they also have the best rattle)
Maeve has made a lovely new rainha headdress for the occasion- not edible though I’m afraid.
