Excited about being Capital of Culture 2008? Wondering how its going to feel special for you and not just the tourists?
Here’s your chance to become involved in the most spectacular parade Liverpool has ever seen. A tropical Rio-style carnival is coming to Liverpool, and its main stars will be YOU, the people of Liverpool! We have jaw dropping displays and fantastic costumes to make, floats to decorate and of course we need stewards, dancers and ‘passistas’ parading to the irresistible rhythms of the live percussion provided by the Samba school. We need volunteers now and throughout the run-up to the parade in 2008, so whatever your skills, all we need is enthusiasm and some of your time. Young, old, we need you, and would love you to become involved so that you have a memory of 2008 that is truly something special, and relevant to you as a citizen of this great city.

I got your name from Donna LCC 08. I am a creative hands on Product Design graduate of john moores uni. I would love the opportunity to offer my skills to you for your float for our cities celebration. I have experience in not only 3D Design, set design, interior design, but I also love Art working, I have model making skills working with all types of materials such as modroc,wire etc.. paint techniques I have 8yrs experience as a painter and decorator.
